AI strategy
Know where AI belongs in your business.
Most companies start with tools and hope something sticks. We start with how your business actually works, give you a roadmap your team can act on, and stay on as your advisor while it happens.
Why start here
Buying AI tools is easy. Knowing which ones matter is the hard part.
Pilots that never go further.
A tool gets tried by one person, shows promise, and quietly stalls because nothing around it changed.
Software nobody uses.
Subscriptions pile up while the team keeps working the old way, because no one showed them where the new way fits into their day.
No one whose job it is.
AI lands on top of everyone’s real work, so decisions get made one tool at a time instead of as a plan.
The engagement
From how you work today to a plan you can act on.
- 01
Listen
We interview you and the people who do the work, and watch how a normal week actually runs. The real process is rarely the one on paper.
- 02
Map
We draw how work, information and money move through the business, and where they get stuck or depend on one person.
- 03
Prioritise
Every opportunity gets weighed on what it would change and what it would take. The short list is what to do first.
- 04
Roadmap
You get a written plan: what changes, in what order, who it affects, and how we’ll know it worked.
- 05
Advise
We stay on as your advisor while the roadmap is carried out, and adjust it when the business or the technology moves.
What you get
A roadmap, and someone accountable for it.
- A map of how your business runs today
- The opportunities we found, in priority order
- A sequenced plan for the first changes
- The first project scoped in detail
- The measures we’ll use to prove it worked
An advisor, not a report.
A strategy that ends as a PDF rarely changes anything. We stay involved, meet with you as the plan moves, and change it when the business or the technology does.
“They've been an exceptional partner and trusted advisor in helping me better understand AI and find practical ways to use it in running my business.”
John ArboledaManaging Partner, NKLWhat does an AI strategy engagement include?
Interviews with you and your team, a map of how the business runs, a prioritised list of opportunities, a written roadmap, and ongoing advice while the roadmap is carried out.
Do we need technical people on our side?
No. We need the people who know how the work gets done. We turn that into what should be built and handle the technical side ourselves.
What happens after the roadmap?
Most clients move into transformation, where we lead the change across the business and our engineering team builds what the roadmap calls for. We stay on as your advisor either way.
What kinds of businesses is this for?
Businesses where growth depends on a few people, where the know-how lives in people’s heads, or where skilled people spend their days on repeat work. We have worked with research labs, professional firms, software companies and service businesses.
Will you just recommend your own software?
The roadmap recommends what fits, including tools you already pay for. We build custom systems only when nothing off the shelf does the job.
